You can have a 24-120 and the 28-75 and even the 40mm f2 prime for the price of the 24-70 2.8 IMHO get either the 24-120 or the 28-75 depending on your needs, and save the difference for the announced 70-180 2.8. The Tammy is a bargain as it is an 24-70 F2.8 with VR and although the images do not really compare to the Nikon it is still very good. 24-70 is not a great scope.
